Since 1970 Sosua has always been a resort renowned for sex tourism. The sex trade became so rife in the late 80s that ministers shut down every single business in town for an entire year to attempt to rid it of its sexual connotations. Slowly but surely the town has been slipping back into old habits although this time it is female sex tourists who are reaping the benefits.
This present tense observational documentary follows the experiences of a number of British women who have travelled to Sosua for sex, with access to two different types of businesses set up to facilitate sex tourism.
